About Me
Experiencing the powerful impact that dietary and lifestyle changes had on my health inspired me to study Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), where I completed a three-year diploma and became a registered nutritionist in 2018.
Since then, I have continued to expand my knowledge through professional development, education, health writing, research, and work within the supplement industry. I am also actively involved with plant-based health organisations, including Plant Based Health Professionals UK and WFPB.org.
With a long-standing career in the pharmaceutical profession, I bring a unique understanding of both conventional medicine and nutritional therapy, helping clients safely integrate lifestyle changes alongside medical care where appropriate.
Alongside my NHS commitments, I support private clients using a scientific, holistic, and compassionate approach, specialising in sustainable transitions towards a healthier, predominantly plant-based way of eating.
My passion is bridging the gap between conventional and complementary healthcare — empowering people to take an active role in their wellbeing, manage their health with confidence, and focus on prevention for the future.
My Story
My own healing journey is what inspires me every day to help others. I know first-hand how powerful simple changes to diet and lifestyle can be, and how dramatically the body can transform when given the right support.
For many years, I believed my health struggles were just something I had to live with. Weight challenges, allergies, digestive problems, recurring infections, low energy, medications and regular medical appointments became my normal.
My turning point came in my early 40s after a two-week hospital stay following a severe flare-up of diverticulitis. I felt exhausted, dependent on medication, and knew something had to change. That was when I made one of the best decisions of my life — to take ownership of my health.
By gradually transitioning to a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle and making positive changes, my health transformed. Over time, I no longer needed my medications, but the benefits went far beyond physical health. My energy, sleep, focus, emotional resilience, and confidence all improved.
Looking back at photos of myself in my 30s compared with now in my late 50s, I’m reminded every day of the incredible ability the body has to heal and regain vitality.
Change isn’t always easy, but small, consistent steps can create a completely different future. My passion is helping others overcome long-standing challenges such as digestive issues, migraines, hormonal imbalances, type 2 diabetes, immune and inflammatory conditions — while creating a lifestyle they can truly sustain.
I believe we can feel healthier, stronger, and more vibrant as we grow older, allowing us to enjoy a better quality of life with the people we love.
If you’re curious about how nutritional therapy could support you, I’d love to hear from you.
